Do the Ice have new jerseys and colors this year? I seen pics of them in blue and orange from opening night. I was in Florida taking care of my dad so I did not get to opening night.

It's not orange. It's more like a cross between copper and rust. The Ice wore these jerseys on opening night and again in Green Bay last night.

Truth be told i would love to see the Checker name and colors return. If we ever get a pro team again maybe that could happen. I need a white Checkers jersey
to match my blue Hrudey #30 Checkers jersey.

Why change sweaters? So people will buy the new ones. There has been no official announcement that this is a permanent change or a "third jersey".
Guess we will find out one of these days.

The white ones have orange in them was well, so I'm thinking that this is a permanent change.
I'm undecided if I like these better. I do like getting away from standard blue and white. Just all be glad that we kept sweaters and didn't go to the Reebok uniform skintight system that seems to be so popular now. |
