			<description><![CDATA[ I know the men who created the Gems tried to place a team here in Indy first, but the USHL kept that from happening. A lot of people speculate that if the IHL
could pull in a city like Indy as a team, that other Midwestern markets that aren&#39;t doing so well in the ECHL/AHL would be willing to jump ship. Honestly,
I love the IHL because it&#39;s a good ol&#39; Midwestern bus league and that is more than enough for me as a hockey fan. Although I do love the current Ice

			<description><![CDATA[ Sauce Hockey is a new clothing line for hockey, much like DC for the skateboarding community.  Sauce Hockey was created and owned by a few people that may be
known to USHL fans.  Former RoughRider Brett Beckfeld started this company with the help of a friend of his from Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids.  Another

			<description><![CDATA[ One of the really fun things to do for long time fans is to attend the NHL draft.  For quite a few years, the draft has moved from city to city with fans being
able to look on.  They have normally advertised where the next draft will be at the draft.  There was no such announcement at the 2009 draft.  As a matter of
fact, there is still no announcement.  There is speculation that no one wants to spend the money to put on the event and it may just turn into a hotel ballroom

			<title><![CDATA[ Freon strikes again ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ There was a gas leak at Pan Am today which caused an evacuation.  Is this just an isolated incident, or a sign that the cooling system needs replacement?   
Would there be any funds available for replacement or major repairs?

I hate the thought of the facilty being shut down, alrhough it&#39;s probably inevitable.  If Pan Am goes, then there would only be one sheet of ice inside I
