All four Indiana Ice players at the World Junior A Challenge are on the scoreboard in the first two games. Shane Berschbach has 3 goals and 1 assist. John Parker has a goal, and Nick Mattson and Nic Dowd have 1 assist each. Team USA lost 5-4 in a shootout to Canada East in the tournament opener, then beat Belarus 6-1. Who scores the first Ice goal in the Waterloo rematch? Will we have another close, low-scoring game?

Think I'll go for Anthony Bitetto for first goal.

Sean Kuraly, a futures pick this year from the Ohio Jr. Bluejackets, has filled out the roster this weekend. He is on the Ice affiliated list and can play up to 9 games before he has to be on the "protected list".

Tournament time

The junior tournament the the USHL participates in begins Nov 1st in Prince Edward Island. The Ice contribute 3 forwards, 1 defenseman, and the coach.
The schedule has 5 games on it between this weekend and Nov 8th when the tournment concludes.
You have to assume the Ice representatives will have to head up north before Sunday, so that puts the team one player short for the games they are gone. Also, since the Ice carry 8 D and 13 Forwards, they will have an abundance of D...

Great game last night in Omaha. It definitely looked like a pre-season game and that the team was still trying to feel each other out. But, people that I went with couldn't believe the number for former Ice-men and Tri-City Storm players that are on the UNO squad. Great coverage of Kemp from former Fargo Force Head Coach Dean Blais.
